“...They presented seven men to the Apostles, who prayed and laid their hands on them.” Acts 6:6

On Sunday 1st November 2009, being the first Sunday of the Hallowing of the Church, eight young faithful of the church were presented to His Beatitude Archbishop Mar Meelis Zaia, Metropolitan of Australia and New Zealand, by Rev. Chorbishop Ashoor Lazar, St. Hurmizd’s Cathedral Priest, to receive the gift of the laying on of the hand.

Lectors Oliver Slewa, Raman Youkhanis, George Rasho, Mr. Daniel Kochou and Mr. Ninos Babisha were ordained as Deacons.  Mr. Neil Makko was ordained a Sub-Deacon. Mr. Domenico Miceli and Mr. Robert Khnanisho were blessed as Lectors.
